Life Science opportunities in India

A discussion for graduate students, postdocs and group leaders interested in research opportunities in India.
New research institutions and universities are being set up in all corners of India creating great opportunities to do research albeit amidst a few challenges. With a success rate of over 40%, research grants in India are probably the easiest to get and there are ample opportunities. Learn about the changes as well as practical information on grants and how to apply for jobs. Half the session will be reserved for questions. This meeting is part of the Young Investigator Meetings intended to facilitate the careers of young scientists of any nationality in India. Individuals interested in pursuing postdoctoral or graduate studies in India will also benefit from this session.
