It was really interesting to attend to the Meet the Editors lunch. My group members and I learned more about the scope of the EMBO scientific publications. We found out what the Editors consider as criteria when evaluating a submitted manuscript for publication. We further had the opportunity to discuss our own research and forthcoming manuscripts to get the Editors' opinion about whether our research was suitable for publication in these journals.
